Pathways to Sophia: the Body Soul Connection will offer opportunities for individuals to discover for the first time or strengthen and deepen relationship to the Divine Feminine, personified as Sophia. The figure of Sophia is the embodiment of feminine wisdom. She speaks to us through our dreams, our bodies, and our voices. We will learn how to access HER wisdom though four approaches to dreams. Ritual, movement, and expressive activities will guide opening to new connections.

The presenters have all participated in the BodySoul Rhythms Leadership Training through the Marion Woodman Foundation. Join with us as we begin and deepen the process of reconnecting the Body and the Soul and of embodying the Divine Feminine.

8 CEU's will be available for MFT's and LCSW's.

She is now presenting Theta Healing Workshops and combing quantum physics and metaphysics in healing. Susan is a dynamic, caring teacher and healer.

Gloria L. Van Bree, PhD, is a psychologist whose career spans thirty years in a wide variety of milieu. However, it has been her work with addictions that began at Stanford Hospital’s Department of Psychiatry twenty years ago as well as her personal experience with chronic illness that has informed her of the absolute necessity of body, soul, and mind alignment for wellness. Her journey first led her to Jungian psychology and then the work of Marian Woodman. Gloria has completed the Marion Woodman Foundation BodySoul Rhythmsâ  Leadership training. She has a general private practice in Menlo Park, CA.

Nancy Burnett, PhD, is a Jungian psychotherapist in private practice in Denver, CO, specializing in sandplay therapy, dreamwork and body/soul healing expression. She is a teaching/consulting member of Sandplay Therapists of America and completed the Marion Woodman Foundation BodySoul Rhythms® Leadership Training.  Nancy creates and facilitates workshops and retreats focusing on topics of conscious femininity.  Nancy’s academic training includes over twenty years of informal study of Jungian psychology and related topics. Nancy also brings insights from her personal developmental journey through marriage, parenting, personal, family, and career crises and her personal analytic and sandplay processes to inform her teaching and leadership.

Ann Reading, B.A., has worked with Marion Woodman and her colleagues since 1996, and has completed their BodySoul Rhythms® Leadership Training program.  Ann has worked as a paralegal while pursuing her love of soul work for over three decades, through formal and informal study and her own spiritual practices. She has also worked with other teachers in the area of soul work, including Brugh Joy, Carolyn Conger, and Angeles Arrien, and gratefully acknowledges their influence in her work. Ann has led women's groups and retreats, and has dedicated herself to awakening and accessing consciousness in the body and healing the mind/body split.  She combines psychological, emotional, intuitive and spiritual processes. Ann brings to her work a blend of intuition, joy in movement, and appreciation of sacred play, as well as personal experience in working with the body's wisdom through physical symptoms as a profound teacher.
